The initiative led by our fifth-grade students is a commendable example of experiential learning and community engagement. The project was carefully designed to convey knowledge about materials and their uses, allowing students the opportunity to apply their theoretical understanding to a practical experience.
Through this project, students developed their entrepreneurial and marketing skills by producing their own products in the fields of nutrition and beauty, and selling them at a charity bazaar that was open to parents and teachers. The proceeds from the bazaar were donated to an orphanage on Sunday, April 16, 2023. This not only allowed students to give back to their community but also enhanced their sense of social responsibility. Therefore, these activities provided valuable learning experiences for the students, emphasizing the importance of community service.
